Smita Shashank Bholane<\/strong> is a highly qualified person having two post-graduation in the field of information technology i.e.; MCA and MCM. After such an attractive resume it was very easy to get a lucrative job. She started a job at Sinhgad Technical Education Society in 2005. It was a good going job, but she always felt something missing.

After pregnancy, she took a break from the job for taking care of her kid. After some period when she had few hours daily at her hands, her brother-in-law offered her to look after his back-office work. Her brother-in-law is an established Insurance and Investment consultant. With this job, her training in the insurance industry started. She had realized the power of insurance business and its importance in human life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She realized that job can give her a limited salary and rigidity whereas a business can give her unlimited growth opportunities and flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, in 2007 she entered into the business of insurance and finance. With this her new journey was started. She completed various trainings in different verticals like life insurance, health insurance, general insurance, mutual funds, home loans, project loans, investments and risk planning, to name a few. Now she is an experienced financial planner and leading a team of 52 health insurance professionals. She also has CA\u2019s and taxation experts in her team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She had hit the target of MDRT( Million Dollar Round Table Conference, USA) four times and expected to hit the same in the current year. She has also been honoured with the COT 2021 (Court of the Table, USA).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Putting her work in words, Smita says, \u201cWe sell insurance products but we are surely beyond insurance agent, we are risk planners. We help people in planning, managing and optimizing their financial portfolios. We have a detailed discussion with our clients to tap their exact needs and then we advise them. Term insurance and health insurance are necessary for pushing the family into a safe zone but one has to go beyond that for a smooth, financially healthy life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a vast experience in this field, Smita has thousands of examples and case studies with her. She shared one example of an IT professional. In good times this fellow was paid high salaries. He bought luxurious flats, cars, and other amenities with his salary. Then came the recession and the salaries were cut down to half. The situation became worst and this fellow had to sell out his assets. Many such examples can be found. This situation might have been prevented with proper guidance of financial portfolio manager, like the famous proverb, \u2018A stitch in time saves nine.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are doctors in society. They are experts in health care. A Doctor diagnoses a patient and prescribes him proper medicines. Reading this prescription the pharmacist, at the medical store gives you medicines. But there are people who straight away go to the medical store and ask for medicine based on symptoms. Many times they get temporary relief with the medicine provided by the pharmacist but in some cases, the situation can become worse and out of control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Same thing applies to finances. You need a financial doctor for creating, conserving and safeguarding your finances. The layman is not familiar with many concepts in finance like risk assessment, investment, capital gains, and so on. Smita provides this financial literacy to the people. Many times people fall prey to lucrative advertisements. She advises about the best possible solutions and remedies to her clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smita is dealing with many corporate companies and associations and has 100 plus manufacturing industries on her client list. She is working with a group of 5,000 plus members of the pharmaceutical association and every single of them is personally taken care of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smita is worried about the unethical practices followed by a few in this field. Many companies are very aggressive while selling the insurance online but they are very rude while settling the claims . That\u2019s why some people have a negative impression about insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investment is not a casual thing. It needs certain planning, outlook, and foresight. There are many micro and macro factors related to it, which are to be considered before you start. They all depend upon your intention of investment. The final goal of your investment should be to get money at the desired time with ease.
