Bill Gates once said, \u201cThe only companies that will succeed will be those that obsolete their own products before someone else does.\u201d Technology companies are constantly innovating to better serve their clients. This applies to both software and hardware. While it is difficult to keep pace with these changes, technology obsolescence is necessary. Our smartphones have more computing power than the systems that sent astronauts to the moon decades ago. Without innovation and obsolescence, our devices would fit in rooms, not in pockets.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Pratap works in an industry which requires constant upgrade; software, hardware, and most important knowledge. This has not bothered Pratap much because he has been a technology geek right since his childhood days. In fact, he loves to \u2018romance\u2019 with new technologies and use them to better serve his clients. He had completed many interesting software projects right through his college years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pratap co-founded SplendorNet Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in 2008 along with his graduation classmate Ashish Amalnerkar. SplendorNet was not his first venture. He had forayed into the entrepreneurial world much before and had his share of failure. A hardcore sportsperson that he is, accepting defeat and getting thrown out of the game was not something that Pratap could easily accept. He made a solid comeback in the form of his new venture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SplendorNet made a humble beginning like most other startups. They began with a team of two on a mezzanine floor of a cybercafe. Thanks to their past experiments with organization building, albeit unsuccessful, and their excellent technical skills, they could quickly get going. Within a year, they had ramped up to a team of eight and had to move to a larger office. In the next few years their business, supported by a team of 25 techies, was already thriving. While Pratap brought in his excellent technical skills to the table, Ashish who had entered his family business at an early age of 18 and had helped it flourish, brought in his solid expertise in business processes, HR, finance, and organization building.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

SplendorNet began by delivering web applications and evolved into a web & mobile solutions company over a period of time. Their vast experience in eCommerce and shopping portals has been leveraged by world leaders like Adidas. Their mobile and web applications have earned a million-plus downloads. Some of their IoT (Internet of Things) applications have found end customers from the best of organizations. They have delivered value to some of the biggest universities in the US with their Artificial Intelligence (AI) based applications.
